BUILT IN 1907 BY BARCLAY, CURLE & CO. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY ALLAN LINE SS CO. TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 917NHP FOR 16 KNOTS. PASSAGE QUEBEC FOR GLAGOW. RAN AGROUND ON FREELS ROCK IN DENSE FOG. DISCIPLINE WAS EXCELLENT AND WITHIN 25 MINUTES 437 PERSONS WERE TRANSFERRED TO THE BOATS WITHOUT LOSS OF LIVE. (DODS).
