The wreck of the vessel MAROCCHINO is located at coordinates 32 54.317 N, 13 12.35 E off the coast of Libya near Tripoli. Originally identified following a report on 23 October 1942, the site was surveyed and recorded by the UK Hydrographic Office. Historical records indicate the obstruction was positioned 111 degrees and 3.45 cables from the light at the end of the Oulii breakwater. Following subsequent surveys in April 1943, the wreck status was amended to dead, reflecting its historical classification in maritime navigation records. This underwater obstruction site remains a point of interest for historical and maritime mapping within the Mediterranean region.
