The shipwreck of the Marie Therese is located underwater at coordinates 50 21.324 N, 2 37.358 W off the coast of the United Kingdom. This historic underwater wreck sits upright and largely intact on the seabed at a general depth of 52 meters, with a least echo sounder depth of 47.5 meters. Historical records and diver investigations confirm the site measures approximately 31 meters in length and 8 meters in width, with a scour of less than 0.5 meters extending 25 meters towards the east. Structurally, the vessel features a single propeller with broken blades and an engine with five cylinder covers, initially identified as an old trawler. The identity of the wreck was officially confirmed when the ship's bell was recovered inscribed with the name Marie Therese, Boulogne.
