The shipwreck known as the LYNBURN (PROBABLY) is located off the coast of Ireland in the Irish Sea near the Arklow Bank area at coordinates 52 53.15 N, 5 49.06 W. This historic underwater obstruction sits upright on the seabed in general depths of 38 meters, with a least multibeam depth over the wreck of 34.43 meters rounded to 34 meters on nautical charts. Modern hydrographic surveys confirm the intact steel wreck lies on a 159/339 degree heading with its bows facing northwest, measuring approximately 36 meters in length, 7 meters in width, and standing 4.8 meters high with a strong magnetic anomaly and no surrounding scour or debris.
