Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck of the angling vessel LUCI is located off the Dorset coast in the English Channel at coordinates 50 29.9 N, 2 25.1 W. Sunk on July 5, 2007, the 28-foot vessel has a height of approximately 10 to 12 feet from the base of the keel to the top of the cuddy. The wreck site lies in a depth of 27 meters. Initially reported as not posing a hazard to surface navigation with no evidence of pollution, subsequent hydrographic surveys in January 2010 noted that the dead wreck was not located by multibeam sonar, indicating it may be well broken or dispersed.
