Simplified Wreck Survey

The underwater wreck of the LOCH LEVEN is located at coordinates 55 39 N, 1 35.597 W off the coast of the Farne Islands near Maidstone Rock. Historical survey records indicate the vessel foundered in January 1977. Subsequent hydrographic surveys conducted in 2002 by Gardline and in 2021 using multibeam sonar data by Meritaito confirmed that the wreck was not located and is officially amended as dead or non-existent at this position.
