The shipwreck LISBON is located at coordinates 50 41.536 N, 0 38.902 E in the English Channel off the coast of East Sussex near the Royal Sovereign Lighthouse. Historical survey data from the UK Hydrographic Office indicates that despite various search efforts including area sweeps, multi-beam sonar and magnetometer surveys conducted between 1975 and 2007, the wreck of the LISBON has not been successfully located at these charted positions. The area maintains a general seabed depth of 48 meters. The site remains classified as non-located or dead in official maritime records.
