Simplified Wreck Survey

The wreck of the vessel Langens was historically reported at coordinates 58 36.976 N, 3 31.09 W, situated in Thurso Bay off the coast of Scotland. Located approximately 186 degrees and 2.7 cables from the Little Head Light, the site was initially recorded following a 1941 survey. Subsequent official investigations, including a 1977 sidescan sonar search conducted by HMS Herald, failed to locate any remains of the Langens. The obstruction is officially considered dispersed and no longer poses a hazard to navigation at this Thurso Bay location.
