The shipwreck La Blainvillaise is located in the English Channel within the Gulf of Saint-Malo off the coast of Normandy, France, positioned near the Les Sauvages reef at coordinates 48 53.592 N, 1 59.533 W. First reported in December 1983 roughly 0.3 to 0.5 nautical miles east-northeast of the buoy marking Les Sauvages, the site rests in a general seabed depth of 21 meters. A detailed diver examination conducted in 2006 confirmed the wreck has a least depth of 19.6 meters, with physical dimensions measuring approximately 15 meters in length, 5 meters in width, and standing 2.5 meters high off the seabed, lying on an east-to-west orientation.
