Historical survey records indicate the vessel sank in Conakry Port on July 3, 1990. Following the sinking, no salvage attempts were made, and the owners declared the vessel a total loss to be left as lies. Subsequent hydrographic updates through 2005 continued to track the wreck position in the Conakry area.
