Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck Kintuck is located at coordinates 50 20.034 N, 5 33.06 W off the coast of St Ives in approximately 120 feet of water. The remains are well broken up and scattered over an area of 200 yards. Historical records suggest the site may also be associated with the wrecks Dux and Veghstroom, though a 1973 search failed to find the obstruction and the status was amended to dead with details transferred to Kintuck.

WELL BROKEN UP AND SCATTERED OVER AN AREA OF 200YDS. MORE LIKELY TO BE WKS 'DUX' & 'VEGHSTROOM' [16409 & 16413]. (TELECOM WKS WAR RISK, BOT, 2.9.69). NCA. H2959/73 11.7.73 NOT FOUND. (E. GILES, 1973). AMENDED TO DEAD. DETAILS TRANSFERRED TO 'KINTUCK' [16398].
