WK SITE AND AREA SURROUNDING CONSISTS OF THICK MUD. FEW ITEMS RECOVERED INDICATE A BRITISH BUILT VESSEL FROM THE TURN OF THE CENTURY. ALTHOUGH NO POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION HAS BEEN MADE AM CERTAIN THAT THIS IS THE 'KILCOAN'. (K HURLEY).
