Simplified Wreck Survey
The British steamer Khandeish foundered on Oeno Island in the Pacific Ocean on May 22 1970 with the wreck located at coordinates 23 56 S 130 44 W. Built in 1864 by Duncan at Port Glasgow the 1009 gross register ton vessel measured 203 feet in length and was operated by Lloyds before disappearing from the register in 1877.
