LATER SIGHTED FLOATING BELOW THE SURFACE AND REMAINED A HAZARD TO SHIPPING. LAST SEEN ON OCT 21 AFTER AN AIR SEARCH BUT NO FURTHER SIGHTINGS MADE. (MSD).
