Simplified Wreck Survey

UK Hydrographic Office survey records for the underwater wreck known as JUPITER TR 2 located at coordinates 50 58.6 N, 1 47.037 E in the English Channel. Historical hydrographic survey data from May 1943 initially charted the obstruction as a wreck with a depth of 4 fathoms 3 feet or 8.4 meters. Position updates occurred in September 1973 and December 1974. Further chart amendments in March 1985 classified the wreck position as approximate. By April 1986, official hydrographic notices ordered the wreck to be expunged and deleted from navigational charts, recording the status of the obstruction as dead.
