PASSAGE SWANSEA & MILFORD HAVEN FOR NEW YORK. TORPEDOED & DAMAGED BY U-1055. TOOK 15 DEGREE LIST AND WAS ABANDONED. LATER TAKEN IN TOW WHICH PARTED. LOCATED DURING SEARCH ON 16.1.45 AND PRESUMED TO HAVE SUNK. (SIBI).
