ONLY A FEW PIECES OF IRON REMAIN, INTERMINGLED WITH THOSE OF 'VOLUNTEER'. BELL RECOVERED, BELIEVED TO THE THAT OF JOHN RAY. (R YOUNG). SEP 2016/00007250 25.5.16 NOT LOCATED BY M/B. BUILT OF IRON IN 1881 BY W B THOMPSON OF DUNDEE. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY E R RAY OF HULL. SINGLE BOILER, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 90 HP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE THE TYNE FOR YARMOUTH. CARGO COAL. DROVE ASHORE DURING DENSE FOG. CREW RECOVERED BY PASSING SS. BECAME A TOTAL WRECK AND BROKE UP WITHIN ONE WEEK.
