WOODEN VESSEL, BUILT 1875 BY J & H HALLIDAY, ROTHESAY. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY ALEXANDER MCNICOL OF BRODICK. ON PASSAGE FROM IRVINE FOR BRODICK. ANCHORED IN LAMLASH BAY DUE TO BAD WEATHER. WAS RUN DOWN BY SS 'GLENTOW' OF BELFAST. ALL 3 CREW LOST INCLUDING THE OWNER'S SON. (CLYDE SHIPWRECKS & SIBI).
