16.6.09 CAUGHT FIRE 16.6.09 WHILE FISHING AND WAS TOWED TO CUMBERLAND BAY, SOUTH GEORGIA. NO SERIOUS INJURIES TO CREW. FIRE CONTINUED TO BURN AND ON 22.6.09 WAS TAKEN IN TOW TO MONTEVIDEO BY REEFER EURO FROST. TOW PARTED 24.6.09 IN HEAVY SEAS AND COULD NOT BE RECONNECTED. FIRE CONTINUED TO BURN AND VESSEL SANK IN 40KNOT WINDS AND 6MTR SEAS.
