The wreck of the Holderness is located off the coast of Blyth, Northumberland, at coordinates 55 6.971 N, 1 29.18 W. Historical records indicate the vessel sank near the Blyth harbour entrance. While early reports documented the wreckage as a depth obstruction of 1 fathom 4 feet, the site was officially reported as removed in 1960. Contemporary surveys confirm that the wreck is now well broken, with remnants consisting of a few scattered steel plates, structural ribs, and broken machinery dispersed among kelp in shallow water. This site is currently classified as non-dangerous and historically dismantled.
