The wreck of HMS Kingston Beryl is located at coordinates 56 12.19 N, 7 29.55 W in the waters off the northwest coast of Scotland. Although initial records placed the sinking position of this World War II vessel at 56 12.00 N, 7 30.00 W, subsequent hydrographic surveys have updated the navigational data for the site. Historical records indicate that the wreck was once charted as an obstruction at 56 12.12 N, 7 29.30 W, where sonar contacts suggested a submerged object, though it remained unexamined by divers. Later detailed hydrographic surveys conducted by Gardline Surveys within a 2.5-mile radius of the reported position failed to locate any remains of HMS Kingston Beryl on the seabed. Consequently, the wreck has been removed from official navigational charts as the site no longer shows evidence of a substantial underwater obstruction.
