LEAST E/S DEPTH 35.0 IN GEN DEPTH 38MTRS. NO SCOUR. LENGTH 80MTRS, WIDTH 22MTRS. DCS3 HT 3.2MTRS. LIES 145/325 DEGS. STRONG MAGNETIC ANOMALY. SEABED ROCK. DEBRIS EXTENDS 15MTRS TOWARDS 225 DEGS. WELL BROKEN WK, ATTITUDE UNCLEAR. (GARDLINE, HI 843). AMEND TO WK SW 34MTRS. BR STD. HH100/351/15 17.9.99 HH100/351/15 17.9.99 LIES ON A SANDY SEABED. MADE OF RIVETTED IRON AND WELL BROKEN UP. IRON PROPELLER IN PLACE. ALL OF THE SUPERSTRUCTURE HAS FALLEN AWAY AND LIES IN A FLATTENED TANGLE OF RUBBLE OF EITHER SIDE. ENGINE AND BOILER ARE RECOGNISABLE WITH THE DONKEY ENGINE AND BOILER TO THE FORE. TOWARDS THE BOWS LOOSE FITTINGS, RIBS AND GIRDERS LIE IN A JUMBLED MASS. NO NETS ON THE WRECK. BOW HAS DETERIORATED BUT STILL STANDS SOME 3MTRS OFF THE SEABED. NO BRIDGE ARTEFACTS HAVE BEEN FOUND. A BELL ENGRAVED 'SS GAELIC' HAS BEEN RECOVERED GIVING CAUSE TO SOME DOUBT OVER THE IDENTITY.
