Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck GREENVILLE is located at coordinates 4 59.237 N, 9 2.583 W off the coast of Liberia near the port of Greenville. This maritime obstruction is situated near the southern part of the beach, just east of the local quay. The wreck is recorded as being in an upright position and generally intact, measuring 34 meters in length and 12 meters in width with a structural orientation of 090/270 degrees. As a shallow water hazard, the vessel dries at a general depth of 2.0 meters, with an associated debris field located on the beach behind the main wreck structure. This submerged obstacle was accurately charted using DGPS technology.
