Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck Granville is an underwater obstruction located in the English Channel off the coast of France at coordinates 49 54.382 N, 0 32.142 E. Believed to be of WWII vintage, the site was initially reported when a fishing trawl came fast on the obstruction, recovering a section of the rudder post and pintle. Later investigations by divers using dive computers recorded a least depth of 17.5 meters. The wreck lies in one piece oriented in a northeast to southwest direction with a distinct inclination to port.
