LIVANOS WAS STRANDED IN A POSITION JUST OVER A CABLE NW OF THE LT HO, ON A PERFECTLY CLEAR MORNING 19YRS LATER THE SA SEAFARER WENT ASHORE IN EXACTLY THE SAME POSITION DURING THE MIDDLE WATCH ON 1.7.66. NO LIVES WERE LOSS IN EITHER SHIP BUT EACH WAS A TOTAL LOSS. (SA PILOT, VOL.2, PAGE 171)
