VESSEL, BUILT 1964, BY NIIGATA ENGINEERING CO., LTD. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY GEORGE & PETER LINES INC. ON PASSAGE FROM DUMAGUETE, NEGROS I. FOR DAPITAN, MINDANAO I. CAUGHT FIRE, REPORTED DUE FAULTY ELECTRICAL WIRING. BURNT FOR FIVE DAYS AND EVENTUALLY SANK WHEN ATTEMPTS WERE BEING MADE TO BEACH HER. ALL CREW AND PASSENGERS RESCUED. (MSD).
