HH100/351/21 4.6.04 A VERY LARGE WK WITH A LARGE TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE AND THREE BOILERS AMIDSHIPS. ON AN EVEN KEEL WITH THE DOUBLE BOTTOM TAKNS CLEAR TO SEE. THERE ARE STILL SOME CROSS MEMBERS AND UPRIGHT BRIDGE SUPPORT SPARS OVER THE BOILERS AND THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE. A CLEARLY DEFINED PROP SHAFT RUNS AFT AND IS COVERED OVER BY THE TUNNEL IN PLACES. ABOUT HALF WAY DOWN THE LENGTH, A LITTLE TO STBD, IS A COMPLETE HIGH-ANGLE GUN ON ITS PLINTH. STERN IS WELL COLLAPSED BUT THE FOUR-BLADED PROP IS IN PLACE. FWD OF THE BRIDGE THE CARGO HOLDS HAVE COLLAPSED AND ARE DECAYED BUT THE DOUBLE BOTTOM TANKS ARE MORE COMPLETE THAN AT THE STERN. AT THE BOW THE STEM POST IS PARTLY STANDING WITH PLATING SCATTERED ABOUT. POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION FROM THE BELL WHICH WAS FOUND IN THE BOW AREA, HIDDEN UNDER PLATING AND PARTLY BURIED IN THE SAND.
