The Gambetta shipwreck is an underwater obstruction located in the Bay of Biscay off the coast of Île d'Yeu and Vendée, France, at coordinates 46 41.44 N, 2 30.58 W. Originally documented on French wreck charts around 1918 as a dangerous wreck with an approximate position near 46 41.30 N, 02 30.30 W, the site was monitored by hydrographic authorities through 1922. In 1926, surveying updates amended the entry status to dead and deleted it from active navigational warnings. Today, this hydrographic record documents the historical maritime position and archival survey data of the Gambetta wreck in the coastal waters of western France.
