The shipwreck FOLIAS is located off the coast of Argentina in the Southwestern Atlantic Ocean at coordinates 42 47.69 S, 64 56.52 W. This fishing vessel sank while conducting fishing operations and remains an underwater obstruction at the site. The wreck is recorded as an abandoned vessel, and survey records indicate that the bunker tanks contained approximately 100,000 litres of fuel oil at the time of the incident. There have been no reported attempts to remove the wreck from the seabed. Mariners should note the position of this underwater hazard when navigating the coastal waters of Argentina.
