The wreck of the steam trawler Flottebeck is located in the North Sea at coordinates 54 17.25 N, 06 49.00 E. This historic underwater obstruction was originally reported as a sunken steam trawler in the early 20th century. Historical surveying records from the UK Hydrographic Office indicate that the wreck was previously charted as a non-dangerous wreck in positions approximating 54 17.15 N, 06 49.00 E. While listed in early maritime records as a submerged vessel, subsequent nautical surveys conducted between 1970 and 1972 removed the wreck from official German and Netherlands navigation charts, suggesting the site may no longer pose a significant underwater obstruction to shipping or that the remains have been broken up over time by North Sea currents.
