Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck known as Fittonia (Possibly) is located at coordinates 53 29.494 N, 0 52.708 E in the North Sea off the coast of England, approximately 27 miles east by south of Spurn Point near Grimsby. Originally mined, historical records indicate the site was examined as a small buried wreck. Hydrographic surveys report a least echosounder depth of 18.2 meters in a general depth of 19.2 meters, with dimensions measuring approximately 30 meters in length, 6 meters in breadth, and a height of 1.02 meters, lying on a 000/180 degree orientation. Later multibeam bathymetry surveys noted the wreck was not located, indicating no further action or significant features remain visible at the seabed.
