Simplified Wreck Survey

The underwater wreck of the Firth Fisher is located at coordinates 50 44 N, 1 34 E in the English Channel near the French coast. Historical hydrographic survey records from the UK Hydrographic Office dating back to 1940 initially tracked the position of this obstruction near Dique Carnot. Subsequent naval surveys by HMS Scott in 1944 and later chart evaluations in 1982 confirmed that the wreckage is no longer visible on recent French navigational charts and the status of the wreck has been officially amended to dead.
