BUILT OF IRON 1857. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY J DUFF, ISLE OF WHITHORN. PASSAGE LONDON FOR DUMFRIES. LEFT AT ANCHOR OFF RAVENGLASS DUE TO MECHANICAL FAILURE. CREW ROWED ASHORE TO MARYPORT FOR ASSISTANCE. ON RETURNING THE SHIP HAD GONE - PRESUMED TO HAVE SUNK DURING THE NIGHT. (SIBI).
