This vessel was originally taken into tow on September 21, 1940, and subsequently sank on September 23, 1940. Survey records indicate the wreck was previously classified as non-dangerous, though later reports identified it as an underwater obstruction at a depth of 35 meters. Extensive search efforts conducted in 1986 using echo sounders and deep-water subsea equipment failed to locate the wreck at its reported position, suggesting the site may have shifted or the original wreck data requires re-evaluation.
