Underwater wreck details for the EMMA, a large submerged obstruction located in the North Sea off the coast of England. The wreck is situated at coordinates 51 7.957 N, 1 23.681 E. Historical survey data indicates the vessel is a significant underwater obstruction measuring 74 meters in length, 11 meters in width, and standing 8 meters high. Current bathymetric surveys confirm a least depth of 16.35 meters over the site. The wreck appears to have broken into two sections just behind the bow, with visible debris scattered in the surrounding area and sand plumes extending to the northeast and southwest. The structural orientation of the wreck is 010/290 degrees. Previous examinations have confirmed the site remains a substantial obstacle to navigation with a strong magnetic anomaly. Positioned within the Thames Estuary approach area, this wreck is documented by the UK Hydrographic Office and requires caution for mariners operating in the vicinity.
