The EMILY EVESON is an historic underwater wreck and navigation obstruction located at coordinates 49 43.09 N, 2 13.573 W near Fort Fourgis. Historical survey records indicate the vessel stranded between the Cardurant and Haize Au Nae rocks, where it was reported high and dry at low water with a badly holed bottom. The site has been historically charted with approximate positioning and obsolete wreck symbols, eventually updated to a standard seabed obstruction designation.

Circumstances of loss

STRANDED OWING TO A DENSE FOG CLOSE TO FORT FOWIGIS ON WEST SIDE OF ALDERNEY. BOTTOM WAS BADLY HOLED AND CARGO OF COAL LOST.
