Simplified Wreck Survey
The wreck of the vessel ELBE is located in the North Sea off the coast of Germany at coordinates 53 48.7 N, 7 12.6 E. Historically identified as a navigational obstruction, the wreck position was updated in 2021 to 53 48.42 N, 7 12.36 E. While the site was previously marked by a seasonal green conical light buoy (GPFL(2)12S) deployed annually from February to November, that buoy was officially withdrawn in March 2023. The wreck is not considered a hazard to general navigation but remains an obstruction to fishing activities. Following survey updates, the site has been classified as dead and deleted from official navigational charts.
