The shipwreck DUNTROON CASTLE is located at coordinates 54 12.213 N, 0 6.461 E in the North Sea off the coast of the United Kingdom. Originally reported as a sinking position in August 1967 and later charted as a non-dangerous wreck with a least depth of 28 meters, subsequent hydrographic surveys conducted in December 1997 and May 2016 by Gardline and EGS Pioneer failed to locate the obstruction using multibeam sonar, leading to the wreck being classified as dead, disproved, and deleted from active navigational charts.
