Underwater Wreck DB 21 Survey and History Details Location Coordinates 53 48.9 N 7 56.9 E North Sea German Bight History and Depth Records 1945 to 1980 Initial wreck discovery in 1945 with a least depth recorded at 7.6 meters marked by a green conical light buoy Subsequent surveys recorded depth changes to 7.9 meters and 8.5 meters with various salvage operations noted between 1958 and 1979 The site was swept clear at 21.2 meters in 1978 and the wreck record was officially deleted and marked as dead in December 1980
