The historic shipwreck D. A. Gordon is located at coordinates 38 20.28 N, 0 22.82 W near Cabo de las Huertas. This World War I era site has a complex survey history, with initial sinking positions reported near 38 22 00 N, 00 19 00 W and subsequent positions charted at 38 20 45 N, 00 22 45 W and 38 20 21 N, 00 22 45 W. The obstruction was previously removed from official charts in 1949 and is currently not charted by primary authorities, though it remains a point of interest for marine archaeology and historical wreck research.
