Simplified Wreck Survey

The UK Hydrographic Office historical survey data for the underwater wreck named CLYDEBRAE located at coordinates 54 16.795 N, 0 23.436 W indicates that the site has been repeatedly investigated and is now considered non-existent or fully dispersed. Surveys conducted in February 1980 by HMS Bulldog concluded the wreck was not found and was considered sufficiently broken up not to hazard shipping. Subsequent search operations in November 1997 by Gardline failed to locate the obstruction and the record was officially amended to dead. Further multibeam sonar investigations in May 2016 by EGS Pioneer again confirmed the wreck was not located, resulting in no further action required for this underwater obstruction.
