Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck Christa is located off the coast of Holy Island near Emanuel Head in the North Sea at coordinates 55 43.599 N, 1 46.046 W. Initially reported on March 12, 1976, by Tynemouth and Berwick Coastguards as lying on its side at a depth of 34 meters, subsequent hydrographic surveys in January 2002 by Gardline and April 2021 by Meritaito failed to locate the wreck, leading to its classification as dead and not found in multibeam sonar datasets.
