DONKIN STEERING PEDESTAL MANUFACTURED 1889. (G POUND, DIVE REPORT REC'D 15.8.02). AMEND TO NDW IN NEW POSN. BR STD. SEP 2016/000143596 15.11.2016 EXAM'D 05.06.16; IN 5003.283N, 0607.785W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 64.2MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 70MTRS, LENGTH 88MTRS, WIDTH 30MTRS, HEIGHT 5.8MTRS, ORIENTATION 036/216 DEGS. REMAINS OF THE WRECK COMPRISE OF TWO BOILERS, THE ENGINE AND THE OUTLINE VISIBLE ON THE SEABED. THERE ARE NO REMAINS OF THE SUPERSTRUCTURE. IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE OUT THE LINE OF THE PROP SHAFT RUNNING AFT FROM THE ENGINE BLOCK. THE SHOAL POINT OF THE WRECK IS SITUATED ON THE EASTERN BOILER. (MMT, HI 1470).
