BUILT IN 1927 BY ARMSTRONG, WHITWORTH & CO. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY BRITISH TANKER CO. TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 422NHP FOR 10 KNOTS. PASSAGE THE CLYDE FOR ABADAN IN CONVOY. TORPEDOED BY U-50. BROKE IN TWO AND SANK. FIVE MEN LOST. (DODS, LL WW2, AXIS SUBMARINE SUCCESSES).
