Wreck Details: MFV Brilliant. This underwater obstruction is located at 57 44.206 N, 5 50.403 W, situated off the coast of the Minch near Stornoway, Scotland. The vessel is identified as the MFV Brilliant, a fishing boat confirmed by diver survey in June 2018. The wreck site features the vessel lying in an upright and apparently intact position on the seabed at a general depth of 42 meters. The least depth over the wreck is recorded as 40.15 meters. Physical dimensions of the structure are 10.6 meters in length, 3.5 meters in width, and 1.85 meters in height. The wreck is oriented on a 030/210 degree heading with no evidence of scour and a reported strong magnetic anomaly. It is officially charted as a wreck with a depth of 40 meters.
