Underwater wreck Berchaya Mukah located at coordinates 2 57.06 N 112 5.51 E off the coast of Sarawak Malaysia. This underwater obstruction was originally documented by the UK Hydrographic Office and recorded under survey reference H2813/71. The site has been subject to various marine notices including Sarawak Navigational Warning 3/77 and NM 871/77. Historical records indicate that salvage operations were considered following the incident but the wreck remains charted as an underwater hazard to navigation as shown on chart FR 1496. Mariners are advised that this submerged wreckage in the waters near Mukah Sarawak represents a potential obstruction to vessels.
