Simplified Wreck Survey

The wreck of the ship Barthol is located in Nissum Bredning at coordinates 56 40 N, 8 15 E with a general water depth of 2.2 meters. Originally featuring a superstructure visible above water when first recorded in 1926, the wreck was subsequently destroyed by 1928 with its remains entirely covered by sand and a least depth of 1.5 meters. The wreck was officially deleted from navigational charts following a 1931 Danish chart correction as it no longer exists as a navigation hazard.
