AFTER DRIFTING BLAZING & SEMI-SUBMERGED FOR SEVERAL DAYS WAS SUNK BY TORPEDO FROM PORTUGUESE SUBMARINE 'BARACUDA' IN DEEP WATER, 115 MILES OFF CAPE ST VINCENT. (LLOYDS VOL.250 & MSD).
