VESSEL, BUILT 1944 BY J A JONES CONSTRUCTION CO, GROUNDED AFTER DEVELOPING ENGINE TROUBLE IN BAD WEATHER. HUGE WAVES SPLIT HER HULL OPEN, BREAKING HER BACK BETWEEN NO.3 HOLD & THE ENGINE ROOM. ALL CREW WERE RESCUED. OWNED AT THE TIME OF LOSS BY CIA NAV AZUERO. (MSD).
