The shipwreck AVONWOOD is located at coordinates 52 33.59 N, 2 4.139 E in the North Sea off the coast of the United Kingdom. This historic underwater wreck site has been surveyed multiple times by hydrographic authorities and commercial operators such as Gardline. Recent multibeam surveys confirm the shipwreck lies upright at a least depth of 25.4 meters within a general surrounding depth of 28 meters. The structural dimensions of the remains measure approximately 11.5 meters in length, 5.5 meters in width, and a height of 2.4 meters, with an orientation of 149/329 degrees. Earlier comprehensive examinations recorded historical dimensions of up to 60 meters in length and 20 meters in width when the vessel was evaluated as largely intact. Current navigational charts list a dangerous wreck depth of 25 meters at this revised position.
